AAA Concrete Earned Honor

The selection of AAA Concrete as the top small business of the year by the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is a worthy choice.
I don't know much about the concrete business, but I do know owner Dell Bush and president Don Barfield are solid people and businessmen; the kind of people you would trust about things you don't understand. It's fitting, too, because AAA is about to celebrate 50 years of business here.
President, Don Barfield has been active with Georgia Onsite Wastewater Association (GOWA) since shortly after its conception and served as President of GOWA in 2005. He also works on state panels entrusted to ensure compliance by on-site contractors, pumpers and septic tank manufacturers in Georgia.
In addition to being a leading seller of ready mix concrete, AAA is also one of the country's largest distributor of EZ Flow drain field materials for the on-site sewage disposal industry. Mr. Bush says production of pre-cast septic tanks has become a major part of the business. AAA Concrete now ships tanks by the truckload to dealers throughout the area.
There are numerous other accomplishments including the implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan to benefit the staff, which is now 70 strong.
